Monster Block does not collect any data about you. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection. Nothing you record or type is transmitted anywhere, because the app has nowhere to send it.

What stays on your phone

Match scores, team names, team colours and venue names are written to files inside the app's own storage on your device. Video clips you record are written to the same place. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Camera and microphone

Monster Block uses the camera and microphone only while you are recording a rally, and only after you press the record button. It never records in the background and never at launch. Clips are written to your device and are not uploaded.

Photo library

When you choose to keep a clip, Monster Block adds it to your photo library and files it in an album called “Monster Block”. Locating or creating that album requires read access to the library, which is why iOS asks for photo access rather than add-only access. Monster Block does not read, index, upload or otherwise look at any other photo or video in your library.

Children

Monster Block is operated by an adult keeping score at a match, and is likely to be used to film young players. Because the app collects no data at all and transmits nothing, no information about any person — adult or child — is gathered, processed or shared. Footage of players belongs to you and stays on your device unless you share it yourself.

Third parties

There are none. Monster Block contains no third-party SDKs, no trackers, no advertising networks and no crash reporters.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to request, export or erase from us. Clips can be deleted inside the app; everything else is removed by deleting the app.

Changes

If a future version ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the app will ask you first.
